Sounds like the same moron who fired t.s.a. and nuclear safety workers then had to rehire them. He doesn't know anything about those agencies or efficiency

The Muskrat is more dangerous than the Orange Moron. He has more money and less character than his boss (hard to believe), and he is simply making the most of his time in the spotlight. We hear that he is now tired of wielding his chainsaw and wants to go back to making expensive cars to help save his stock from sinking further. Good luck and good riddance!

It was remarkable in the siege of Leningrad in WWII, the keepers of that country's seed bank, were starving and they never raided what they knew should be protected for the country's future! What is our future? Joan Ragan

Yes, the Vavilov Institute, which still exists. It's the biggest and oldest collection of plant seeds from around the world. Particularly related to food crops, meaning ancient wild strains. They did genetic crosses and developed hybrids resistant to drought, insects, molds, the causes of famines. Which went against the official Soviet (Stalin) dogma that environment was totally determinative. So Vavilov was sent to some gulag.

The Institute continued. During the siege of Leningrad, locals pulled together. In two days, they packed the over 1 million pieces of priceless art in the Hermitage and shipped it eastward. The siege lasted 872 days. Around 700,000 people starved to death, including the 9 scientists at the Vavilov. At least 1.5 million dead total.

Since rats always know where food is, plenty showed up. The scientists beat them off with metal rods...probably some lesson there.

E. Lon Muskrat and his Merry Muskrateers are rabid rodents rampaging through all agencies of our Federal government with Trump's tacit approval. The pest control service we hired (Congress) is failing to perform the services for which we are paying them. Unfortunately, many have contracts that don't expire until November 2026. We can't fire them directly now, but we surely can light a fire under their behinds to do their job. Lodge your complaints. Vociferously. They have phone numbers, they have websites. Contact them early and often. Day after day after day after day. Every day until they step up and do their jobs. Add complaining to Congress to your list of daily chores. Deluge them with your demands. Folks who have Trump toadies as their representatives need to be especially vocal. Make America Gripe Again! Trump's toadies are terrified that if they step out of line and antagonize Trump he will "primary" them. Well, just tell them if they DON'T step out of line, We The People will ""general" them out of office. They work for us. They are our hired hand Direct Reports. And they serve at OUR pleasure. WE are their bosses. Not Butler-In-Chief Trump.

The damage that this limited edition nitwit is capable of may be irreversible. He is supposed to be some kind of genius? I don't see it. Hit the road Jack.

More than ever we must fend for ourselves. Our own governmental agencies and systems cannot help us any longer. We can no longer trust that we are people among peoples who feel as we do about our present conditions and our futures and the futures for our young. Throw the bums out? We can't even do that. We dare not try. What? The enemy amongst us is armed - and still supporting the bums. We must fend for ourselves. Just like we have forever. Who else would store and protect food plant seeds? Who else would clean up our local drinking waters? Who else would grow and share locally grown foods in their communities? Who else would create food banks, small as well as large? Who else would help find nutritional, non-drug, sources for healing? Never let the bums ever return to legislative or executive power. Throw the bums out. Dammit. Dammit. Dammit.

Leon Musk can, and has, done a lot more damage than a few rats (not to canonize the rats)!

Elon Musk may be a techno genius, but these sorts of minds focus on one thing-they are not able to figure out anything else He should stick to what he knows and LEAVE THE REST OF US & EVERYTHING ELSE ALONE!!!

I think a lot of narrowly focused techno geniuses may be on the spectrum. In this case the narrow focus combines Hitler with technology to produce, in theory, an ultra-efficient techno-fascist state from which eventually to rule the world (or what's left of it after the 'unworthies' are dispensed with).

Totally agree. And don't forget the worldwide seed bank in Norway (I think it's in Norway). Maybe muskrats will die off if the food isn't there, right?

I'd like to say that musk has suffered a psychotic break, but it seems clear he has been deranged all along. It is beyond me how he can willfully and joyfully inflict pain and chaos on so many people and smirk and snicker about it. His level of twisted ennui is just mind-boggling.
