That's a great idea but more importantly, his campaign used an old fashioned but still essential tactic of "grass roots" door to door canvassing. He had over 100,000 volunteers working their asses off communicating with the voters. For a successful campaign vs the monied establishment, the door-to-door identification of prospective voters is essential. Great organization and voter "pulling" on election day is the best strategy. Any candidate with a real people's agenda, a backbone and an organization can win, against any "odds". I know because I've done it several times myself. Zohran Mamdani,a Muslim immigrant 34 years of age whipped the tarnished ex governor Cuomo and the GOP candidate by a 2to1 margin despite Trump calling him a communist and fearful Jews calling him antisemitic.Former mayor& billionaire Bloomberg & other affluent folks spent millions in vain to defeat him.NYers need support in many areas which Mamdani heard & promised to address.The road ahead will be challenging and strewn with opposition.We are optimistic and supportive of our mayor elect.
