We’re experimenting with all kinds of features and offerings for our paid subscribers, and we’re hosting our first-ever live Reader Roundtable on Tuesday, May 16th, at 7:00pm ET. Ever wanted to ask Hightower a question? Here’s your chance! This is how it’ll work (we hope):

• Start leaving comments below with your questions for Hightower. Just about anything is on the table— questions about Texas, political history (especially populist history!), current affairs, favorite recipes, recommended reading, you get the idea.

• Come back here on Tuesday evening with your favorite beverage— we don’t discriminate against anyone’s choices for their 12-oz elbow bend workouts—and watch the video below live as Hightower and I do our best to answer them together.

• Feel free to keep asking questions and responding to our answers live in the comments below! I’ll be monitoring the incoming as we broadcast.
