Wannabe "tyrant" Trumpolini wants to emulate his hero Putin who seized the Crimean territory in Ukraine initially before invading later. This is a blatant example of Imperialism and a failure of the GOP to check his nastiest impulses.

As Danish-American I am outraged at his disrespect for Denmark and the Greenlander people. Denmark has always been America’s ally. Now they despise us and are boycotting all America’ exports. While small, they are strategically important and proud. Trump and his evil crew are disgraceful. I am ashamed to be American.

Trump's obsession with subjugating Greenland, Canada, and other sovereign countries is based solely on potential financial gain for himself--not for America. And as usual, he is a huge embarrassment to any thinking American. Will no one rid us of this meddling autocrat?

Edith, I nearly used Henry II's "Will no one rid me . . ." remark in my own comment. Everybody I know is asking the same thing: Will no one, or no group, or no Congress, or no power, rid us of this worse-than-meddlesome autocrat? Linda Nelson

While Henry's wish was in fact a wicked one, it would be wonderful if SOME group, preferably Congress, would undertake to curb the lawless instincts of our "president" by exerting at the very least a bit of courage to speak out. I feel at times like a voice crying in the wilderness, but I know I am not alone, and I wish some entity with authority would lend their voice as well. The court has spoken--and their message seems to have fallen on deaf ears. When will the GOP realize that they are burying their legacy in the s**t of Trump's ego?

Not gonna happen, Donald. No way, no how. He is relying too much on the tactics that have helped him to get what he wants in the past. Also, he still believes that everything can be bought and everyone can be bullied. Even the GOP (greedy old party) is beginning to wake up to the disaster that is Trump 2.0. IMPEACH!

According to Wikipedia, "Greenlandic (Greenlandic: kalaallisut [kalaːɬːisʉt]; Danish: grønlandsk [ˈkʁɶnˌlænˀsk]) is an Eskimo–Aleut language with about 57,000 speakers,["

How do you say 'Fuck You' in Greenlandic?

You don't say that to Donald Trump. He may take it as an offer he was never able to refuse.

Let's publicize take-over plans for an island that was never part of the USA, but instead belongs to a European ally, thereby turning our former ally into an enemy while showing every other ally the utter disregard the Trump administration has for so-called allies. What could possibly go wrong?

Headcase would likely put the battle plans on Signal and (accidently) include the Danish Prime Minister as well as Jeffrey Goldberg.

Trump has been overplaying his hand and alienating more people at home and abroad. Growing pressure will lead congressional Republicans to break loose from his control, and his power will wane.

All the Greenlanders need to do is see how the US treats Puerto Rico to emphatically say "no thanks!"

The Greenlanders (and the Danes) have already said that repeatedly. Our "beloved leader" does not understand why anybody could say "no" to him. Trading their freedom and independence for "development" and "protection" is an irresistible deal, no?

Humpty Dumpty is the disease, but the cure is being withheld by a completely gutless Repub Congress. It's was a pitiful waste of air that they used to recite their oaths, SO PATHETIC!!

Trump is like a bond villain if the part was played by a malevolent but clueless, (Pink Panther) Inspector Clouseau. He is the embodiment of fingernails scratching on a chalkboard.

His oligarch accomplices want the mineral resources and the wealth they represent. I suspect trump's motivation is far more primal. A spoiled, tantrum inclined child who can't abide "No!" when he says "Mine!"

Lest we forget, Donald Trump is Roy Cohn's protégé, the gay Jewish lawyer. Mr. Cohn's clients included politicians, businessmen, and the Mafia. He was close to FBI chief Edgar J. Hoover and served as chief counsel to Joseph McCarthy. He represented Mafia bosses Fat Tony Salerno and Paul Castellano. Trump had dealings with mob-controlled companies and unions and connections to organized crime. Wake up, people. With associations like that. What do you expect from the Fat ignorant Bloviating Asshole? We have an F-ing Crime Lord for POTUS!
