It's hard to choose a small number of topics, but I'll try. First and perhaps foremost, successful strategies for opposing Trump's policies. Also successful strategies for moving the Democrat Party away from fat cat donor influences. (I resigned from the Democrat Party when Bill Clinton ended welfare as we knew it and have been an Independent ever since.) Having grown up in Oklahoma, I'm also interested in rural economic development, which I think is why the Democrats do poorly in rural states and lose the Electoral College so often. I hate to see small towns collapse because young people are moving away and the remaining folks find it difficult to make a living.
Sounds like an excellent idea. I used to read those articles a lot more often than I do the couple paragraph articles we now are getting because they gave a lot more information.
Let's figure out a way to make "mainstream" media - here's looking at you NYT and WaPo, etc - behave like real journalists instead of jai alai bookies. Get after 'em.
Write about the deeply flawed assumptions of the dominant econ theories now ruling the U.S. and most of the world.
To the benefit of those fake 'people,' corporations, and to the detriment of human communities and the rest of life on Earth. Dominant because neolib (neoclassical) economics means money and power become concentrated among the very few--and they buy political parties and thus control governments. Also why practical alternatives are so seldom heard.
There are savvy alt. economists who can translate arcane EconSpeak into normal human language.
Please cover monopolies and cartels (like the ages-old issue on the 4 companies who dominate food distribution), or the company that dominates egg production at 72% of the US market. It's time for the public to see what our private overlords are doing...
I believe in the Democrats and have since Reaganomics did not trickle down. However, I look forward to getting information on how to effectively deal with continuing evil actions of trump, maga, and musk. I am certain that the deep-dives will be of great help. Thank you for bringing it back.
Curious about an analysis of education in rural America. At time my children entered a rural school system some area schools were 4 years behind national average. Even though at top
of class my children were 2 years behind in general education and 4 years behind in science. When a chemistry text is chosen that lacks a periodic chart science is not recognized as important or valued. As a school board member I encountered few that had any background in the foundation of education. My wife was a teacher and she attempted to stimulate talented kids to seek more education beyond local
Opportunities but family mentors consistently stopped any such opportunities.despite her years of efforts.
How to join in, donate, volunteer with the core group(s) who are consolidating efforts and strength. There are way too many small groups, which fractures the whole.
Where do I put my efforts and $$ to make the most difference in the resistance?
The importance of imagining the thriving future we want. Things are falling apart, what comes after this falling apart? We create it. Who is doing that work now? Tell us about them. Encourage us.
Where public health is and is going. I support Medicare for All and Single Payer, all movements to take the profit out of medical care and extend care to the entire population of the United States.
I'm dying to hear about whether there's a mass of corporate leaders who will self-regulate as tRump and his moronic minions rapidly unravel every pro-human, pro-health, pro-environment regulation there is. Are there capitalists of good conscience out there? How much disdain for one's fellow humans can their hearts, and bottom lines, sustain? Will they do the right thing even if they aren't brave enough to say so publicly? I'' curious about what you could dig up out in that area.
And ongoing, eternal thanks for all you do to educate and empower us all.
What are the core differences between family farms and corporate farms. Aside from size, what are the differences between small family farms and large farms
Thank you for your continued rabble rousing and truth telling. Glad to hear the Lowdown is returning. Well done. In the meantime, continue to PROTEST, RESIST, PERSIST AND REPEAT!!

A chemistry text without a periodic table of the elements? When was it published, some time before 1890?

It will be great to see the detailed op eds. The "repurposing" of the Constitution by the rump government would be an interesting topic.
