It is QUITE evident that Clearance Thomas believes in the mantra - "Do as I say and NOT as I do!!!" And all for a ..... "few pieces of SILVER, GOLD and/or PLATINUM!!!"
Since writing, not to mention, agreeing to a code of ethics seems too difficult for members of the SCOTUS, I wonder if they'd consider defining 'the appearance of corruption' or 'accepting favors in exchange for consideration of any legal position in cases before the court' or even 'acquiescing to legal requirements that apply to most citizens in this country.' Somehow, I doubt it. It's mid-morning here in the Pacific Northwest and I'm fully awake and aware of what I just wrote, no matter how impolitic it may seem. I could've used one word for the justices: Argh!
This is a system that needs reform. The fact that the Supreme Court judges are appointed is no longer working. Clarence Thomas should never have been appointed. The public has lost faith in this court and for good reason.
LA council member Curren Price has come up in an interesting rejection reason saying that it “would be inappropriate” to suspend him, saying he is innocent, bla, bla, bla. The lower level folk are simply copying the supremes…
Don't forget Alito. These swine MUST be held accountable. Does anyone think Anita Hill made all of her testimony up? Women will do ANYTHING to avoid recounting abuse and/or rape. And, still, he was confirmed.
