You forgot to mention that the patent for insulin was "given" for the price of one dollar by the inventor to the pharmaceutical company.

Meanwhile, Nova Nordisk's version, the only one that has succeded in keeping my Type1 daughter alive after Eli Lily's nearly killed her, is even MORE expensive than EL's former cost!

And some people wonder WHY are so MANY insulin takers going to MEXICO to get their "fix" and may end up DEAD, by doing so!!!! One thing is for sure, when David Ricks CROAKS, he WON'T be taking ALL that money with him and it WON'T "buy" him a "nicer" place ..... EITHER!!!

If they can cut prices by 70 percent, it actually means they have been overcharging by 233 percent.

I'm no math whiz, but it seems to me that the difference between what they could charge (as low as $9) and what they have been charging (as much as $1000) is about 11,000%!
