Commissioner, I shall not claim any "firsts," but I was exposed to tenses of the verb "Wake" in right wing literature from the time I was in elementary school (1950's) to the present misues of the same verb and tense. Sir, "I woke" politically many years ago. I "wake" each morning, through the grace of a power greater than I. I have no palce in my syntax for "woke" as a noun, adjective, or adverb.
