Tim Walz is a great choice! His record in support of average Americans is a refreshing change from the corporate politicians and grifters that hurt and offend working people economically, socially and morally.
Maybe the best populist since Fred Harris (not counting you, Jim Hightower, of course). Makes me want to actually do something besides send in the customary $27. Power to the People right on!
Woohoo! What a difference from a month ago, when I was pondering whether and how I might survive the election season with Biden as the candidate. I am very proud of Joe’s accomplishments so far in his term, but it was necessary for him to step aside and hand the baton to Kamala! And now she’s got Tim! Now we have all three of them taking care of business! Woohoo!
Kamala picking this rainbow radical makes keen my furthering interest in her plans. It seems to self-distance herself from the leaning-right-of- center of Biden and the whole leaning-right-of -center cabal of the reigning Democrats who may have now a real contender to contend with. Or has she picked him to balance her decision to copy the cabal, choosing to put herself through the copy machine? Doubtful, since she does not need that struggle. A vice needs to be on the same page for support, not internesine squabbling. My hope is that Kamala will bake her own cake with her own ingridients, quadruple her personal security (none from the overall right -leaning Secret Service), and to re-establish the Democratic Party to its original for-the-working- folks-first brand. Her VP pick epitomizes that plan, I cross my fingers in hoping so.
I don't think anyone can take Paul Wellstone's place! I believe Wellstone values can go forward in progressive populist agenda.I will continue to look for shooting stars like populist leaders like Paul Wellstone and Mike Synar. Tim Walz is a good choice.I Can't help Harris/Walz ticket much.I can buy t shirt or small donation. I also wanted pay tribute to the now recently deceased George Krumme who was a great Oklahoma Democrat. He was. huge contributor to the Democratic party.He was my friend lived to 101 years young.RIP George Krumme!
