Democracy starts from the bottom up Good for all those voters who turned out to defeat these "Moms" What they don't seem to understand, children grow up and then will have to face these issues, but will then have to figure them out Woundn't be better to talk about these issues in an open way with an adult who's interest is to open the doors to inquiry, in a controlled setting? Not on the street? Pretty short-sighted, these Moms!

Truer words have not been spoken, but Brain washed fanatics are just passing the torch to the next generation of fanatics .How to break the generational cycle is the question. If we were the Nazis these people seem to want to be it’s no problem, reeducation Camps ,De or Re-programming all that great Fascist stuff, they expound in their speeches. Its disgusting to see children being damaged by their Own Mother! God must be on vacation,so praying is out, that leaves us to find a solution somehow, maybe if we voted against those who benefit from the screwed up chaos we’d have a chance, nah that’s just to easy!!

It's the Lord and the Imperialist hierarchy that messes things up.

A lot of us still believe in God, or a Higher Power. It's difficult to believe there is not something greater than uoeselves But God helps those who help themselves Nothing ventured, nothing gained So we cannot give up!

These Momsters seem to be trying to make whatever their beliefs are into Public Education Policy. I am so happy that their arrogance is finally seen through and hopefully they will find a more inclusive spirit and lose some self righteousness

I see God as all spirit no thing all time and all ways. Life is the miracle on Earth and a gift from God. If it is written then, to me, it is the Lord.

We agree with Becca. These Moms do not care a fig about liberty. They are stealing from their children - taking away the best things about childhood, the wonder and curiosity and the ability to ask questions and find answers and make up their own minds. They are the ones who are "indoctrinating" and closing young minds. In other words, they want to raise obedient subjects, not informed citizens. What a joy to learn that they have been so soundly defeated. There is hope for America!

I recommend clicking the Lizards link. And after you enjoy that song, you can click on their gene pool song. Well crafted! Thanks for the link, Jim, and thanks especially for today's message. It's religious wishful thinking (and not just Christian), not God, that will bring about end times for us humans. They want it badly.

With God ( Great Spirit of Life) all things are possible. Spirit is something that is completely different from matter and energy but it affects matter and energy during each moment of eternity DOG

Anger at too fast change, especially social and cultural, is understandable. What is not is bullying and lack of an open mind that helps create win-win compromises. Their propagandized closed minds are just flat wrong.

the Quasi Right wing Christians have used their bigotry for a long time. The anti Catholic vitriol against the immigrants from Ireland and Italy in the 1800's and now the Mexican and Central/South Americans, the slave trade of Africans with the ongoing suppression of their rights, the ongoing anti Semitic hate following the course of the French and El Cid,Russian Tsars and Hitlers Naxis along with the Lindberg American group and Henry Ford has continued to simmer. There is no race or bigotry in a 4 person foxhole as I learned in the USMC. Maybe, they individuals should read and practice the teachings written in the New Testament and practice 'what would Jesus DO!

Whenever a Repub says "liberty" he or she means their liberty to F*** the rest of us. The Right want to shove their Fascist ideas down our throats, the Left wants to shove their ideas down our throats (Any man who sez he's a woman IS a woman and get to beat the girls, crime can be eliminated by disarming the people who DON"T commit crimes) Why the F*** can't people mind their own damn business? Or at least use the brains God gave them?

Far Right Christians And Corporate Collusion

These unfriendly take-overs assert their right to dictate religious standards for everyone else. Never mind that millions of Americans believe differently or that their interpretations of biblical sources are both ahistorical and tainted by a bellicose nationalism. After all, Jesus only kept the best of company. He never associated with anyone of not of the purest morality. He never did shocking things like eat at the same table with unmarried, unrelated women. He only fraternized with important people and insisted that the traditional hierarchies of religious and political elites be obeyed. Uh-huh.

The rest of us suspect something else is beneath the superficial "Christian" life savior thin coating for good reasons. Like the theocratic machinations that former Republican strategist Kevin Phillips and journalist (and ordained minister) Chris Hedges have been warning us about for decades.

Add corporate influence--read "One Nation Under God (How Corporate America Invented Christian America)" by Kevin M. Kruse, 2015. The book reveals important reasons why and how the corporate elite has enabled far right zealots. It has nothing to do with any old time religion; it was (and remains) the product of a corporate campaign to finally be rid of the New Deal and everything related. Such as Social Security, public power, consumer protections, unions, bank regulations, etc.

These various organizations should indicate what group is funding them so that the reader/listener can determine what their real purpose is. Sweet sounding names are just icing intended to lure innocent people into support and/or membership.
