I am not a vegetarian because I eat "happy chickens" here in France!
The smell of meat cooking makes me gag.
The French eat meat in enormous quantities.....especially on Sunday when whole families come together. I think this is not so different from the USA.
IF I could get my 'gut' together I would visit an abbatoir.
Maybe if we all had to visit an abbatoir we would stop eating meat.
Today I watched as young lambs and sheep were loaded onto trucks to take them up to the mountains to fatten them up for human consumption.
