I often feel sorry for millionaires and billionaires. They can't seem to make ends meet on their paltry income. I propose that we begin a movement called "coupons for the super rich." We all send our store coupons to our favorite oligarch.

During the 1999 anti WTO protests I'm proud to say became known as the "Battle of Seattle" there was a drill team dressed in business suits, carrying briefcases, along with signs: Billionaires for Bush-- BECAUSE TRICKLE UP ISN'T HAPPENING FAST ENOUGH. We were all sympathetic of course.

We go to our local thrift stores and buy the most used pot, large spoons and forks we can find and take them to our protests and mail the spoons and forks -- in padded envelopes, of course -- to our 'favorite super-rich and out-of-touch corporate scions.

Like here, the imperious, smug neolibs are above it all. Yesterday, on another left news site, comment by a Harvard grad that these types (including what I call Ivy Ds) are certain they're the best and everyone wants to be them. Why would they listen to inferiors?

As the Best and Brightest March of Folly 2.0 stumbles along, its blinkered advocates see nothing but themselves reflected world-wide. Perhaps the sheer volume of the peasant noise will get some attention. Before they have to bring out the torches and pitchforks.

Viva la France!

I have long thought that shaming a corporate Board might bring results. The Boards of the major gun manufacturers need to have their names published with addresses, and crowds need to bne at their homes to let all the neighbors and world know who is killing our children! Shame these guys to death!! it WILL work. Thanks

What kind of pan would I take? Well, that depends. For instance, if it was an anti-Trump rally, definitely cast iron. In case some MAGAt counterprotester needed a pop upside the head.

Just imagine for a moment: Every billionaire is sent 'cooking utensils' with which to simultaneously 'share' with the Public because they don't need them.

What a noise.

I appreciate the effectiveness of the pots-and-pans protest, but I have little sympathy for their cause. Retire at 64 rather than 62? That’s a problem? I retired at effing 70, for pity sake. What a bunch of spoiled children.

We all know in France that this retirement age is a joke there is plenty of money. People in France (unlike Americans) don't like being pushed around by their Govt. without a clear cause. Very educated people here, Macron was wrong to push it through.

Life is good here and we don't live to work we work to live! Obviously you know little to nothing about this.
