Elites, Davos and otherwise, have always been with us. What changes the world for the better or worse for "regular folks" is what they focus their talents, influence, and resources on. At one time in the US, wealthy elites focused on founding colleges, libraries, institutions that educated "regular folks" and their communities. Now, not so much. All I can say is, "Amen!" Well, also, maybe just to note that Stephen Doty is correct. I guess my question might be more like, "How can we get the 'elites' locally to do good stuff instead of destructive stuff?" Local, state and regional is where we "peons" might be able to have SOME effect.
