Too many business schools from the 50's which were modeled after the Military and Autocracies; the schools have produced leaders that look up. Their attitude is that the sheep (everyone else) will look up. They see all institutions as a pyramid.

Aside: SCOTUS sees their role that way and inbent stupid theories to support their POV.
